if anybody asks me why i hate men, i’m just gonna redirect them to this post.

it’s pretty fucking obvious that men only want to invest in breast cancer research to further degrade, objectify, and jerk off to body parts they already feel 100% entitled to. that’s what is at stake for them.

what about the women whose “tatas” weren’t saved? how must they feel being surrounded by awareness ads that focus more on keeping women’s sexy-sexy-titties-to-continue-titillating-the-males than saving real life human beings and helping survivors?

If anyone’s wondering, those posts came from here. It’s a forum for breast cancer support. Give it a read, and you’ll see how many women are outright abandoned by their husbands, sometimes after being married for decades, because their “tatas” couldn’t be saved.

Save the titties! (Who gives a shit about the people they’re attatched to)

being called “racist” isn’t an insult or something mean that people are saying to you because they want to bring you down. if you’re being called racist you shouldn’t be brushing it off because you “can’t see the haters” you should be assessing your behaviour, your language, and mindset for signs of prejudice, discrimination, and sympathy/support for unfair and violent treatment towards racially persecuted people in your country

reasons to play golden sun:

-good music (heres an example)

-flashy combat that is fun to play and easy to handle

- catchy af battle themes

- cute collectable elemental spirits that double as stat boosters and each have their own effects in battle

-after releasing djinn in battle, use them for summons (ds | gba)

-if you like wandering over entire continents please play the gba games because this is pretty much what you do

-if you like worldbuilding please play these games because pretty much every continent on this entire world has links back to a real world culture and they do it really well most of the time

-change classes by mix and matching dijnn to change the elemental affinity of your party members and also change their abilities

-just mind read everybody for the hell of it (you can do that)

-you get to visit Lemuria and you have to fight Poseidon to get in, thats hardcore

-you get to visit waterfalls streaming off the edge of the world. thats cool

-open world exploration yea. tired of walking? you get a ship. tired of sailing? build fucking wings onto your ship so you can fly

-theres apparently a civ of jupiter adepts that lifted their entire city into the sky and its now the moon or something. sadly you never get to go there but we can only hope

-if you like using flashy magic: everybody in your party can use flashy magic. you will never run out of flashy magic to use

-even the weapons are flashy if you buy rare ones

-youd better like puzzle dungeons because son have we got puzzle dungeons

why I’ve started using MOGAI

trigilis:

(Marginalised Orientations, Gender Alignments, and Intersex)

- a blanket term referring to everyone who isn’t a dyadic cisgender heterosexual and heteroromantic person.

  • it’s shorter, more inclusive and easier to pronounce than LGBTQIAP+
  • not a slur like “queer”
  • doesn’t have a history of including dyadic cishet kinksters, paedophiles, or rapists like GSRM (Gender, Sexual and Romantic Minorities)
  • doesn’t include dyadic cishet women while excluding binary trans men like MOGII (Marginalised Orientations, Gender Identities, and Intersex)
  • Allies can’t take the “A”, because “Marginalised Orientations, Gender Allies, and Intersex” wouldn’t make the least bit of sense

DISNEY LOVE

I love that at first she thinks it’s misogynistic, and isn’t afraid to call him on it, but then we see him do what we almost never see a male superhero do : He admits he’s scared.

He’s not trying to belittle her, he’s not trying to tell her or even the kids that they’re not strong,

He’s trying to protect what he loves most because he’s terrified of losing them. The big, giant robot ripping apart BUILDINGS doesn’t scare him at all compared to losing what he loves.

I love this movie for so many reasons, but this scene is one of the bigger ones. A hero movie where the males are allowed to be emotional without appearing weak? A hero movie where females are allowed to be strong without being callous or woefully 2D? A hero movie where children are allowed to explore their potential instead of being shitty sidekicks?

YES PLEASE.

People are losing their fire and forgetting about Ferguson. That’s exactly what the police want, though: for all of this to just go away and for people to forget about it.

Don’t let that happen.

Finally, thank you.

this poster literally explains how it coincides with seasons though — “decreased sun exposure & water intake” which presumes fall and winter. nooot to mention the fact that this is silly: it would mean flu “season” doesn’t exist in Arizona which has around 360-363 days of sunshine.

the influenza virus survives best in cold, dry air — i.e. fall - winter months are its perfect breeding grounds. (Also why it happens seasonally in the southwest!) Hence, tropical countries have “even” flu distributions whereas pretty much everywhere else sees a spike in influenza (seasonal flu) with the seasons

also the lowered rate of exposure to sunlight (vitamin D) is entirely dependent on seasons and geographic regions. it’s why flu season is on a “different schedule” in the southern hemisphere.

lack of sun exposure, increased sugar intakes, less water intake, and stress are just GENERALLY bad for your immune system overall. Monitoring these things & taking care of your self just means a general boost to your immune system it does NOT create flu resistance. That is why the flu shot/spray exists. Flu resistance is NOT just having a good immune system.

Please don’t believe you will be immune if you drink water and take vitamins. the flu is VERY seasonally based for those who don’t live in tropical regions and the best way to resist it is to get your flu shot.

ESPECIALLY (if like me) your are asthmatic or otherwise immuno-compromised.

the flu is NOT your inability to adapt. Influenza is a virus which survives best in cold, dry climates, and thus hits most areas hardest in the fall and winter (and early spring), particularly from December onwards. It will attack your immune system and having a good immune system will pretty much only help you bounce back from catching the flu faster. It will not prevent you from getting the flu. Getting the flu shot, however, will raise your resistance and immunity.

Reblog this version instead because jesus christ, Tumblr spreading horrible misinformation OR JUST SIMPLIFYING IT SO YOU DON’T WORRY AS MUcH. The flu is really fricking serious for some people. Get ur shot.
